Native, unmineralized bone tissue requires special sample processing techniques. Bone or other calcium mineralized samples can be processed using methods that allow sectioning or grinding undecalcified bone. BioSiteHisto offers methyl methacrylate and glycol methacrylate embedding methods for research of native bone tissue histology. In case of implanting titan, or other unsectionable materials into the bone, we recommend grinding method instead of hard tissue microtomy.
